A nine-year-old Pakistani girl had broken the record of an Indian professor. She became the fastest and youngest girl within the world to rearrange the chemical elements of the periodic table within the shortest possible time.

Natalia Najam, the Lahore-based science enthusiast, achieved the Guinness World Records title. She arranged all elements of the periodic table in only 2 minutes and 42 seconds on July 18, 2020.

She broke the previous record by 7 seconds.

After setting the record, the young girl screamed with joy because the judges gave her a powerful thumbs up.

She accomplished the feat by breaking the previous record. The previous record was set up by an Indian economics professor Meenakshi Agarwal who completed the same task in 2 minutes and 49 seconds.

The young Pakistani girl hopes that her achievement will inspire the children around the world. So, they would continue making strides in science and pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

A nine year old Pakistani girl set a world record in Chemistry

Many Pakistanis on social media hailed her achievement calling her “Pakistan’s young scientist”. However, she is an inspiration for young children especially girls to take up science subjects.

Natalia Najam at the time of setting the world record had no formal schooling. She was entirely homeschooled according to her father Hassan Najam. She has an extraordinary interest in science and technology.

His father also told that she completed this challenge in 2 minutes and 20 seconds at home. she is very fond of experimenting. Her mother said that she is very curious about chemistry and practiced in 40 days for this world record. She loves to gain knowledge and very curious about the mixing of chemicals. She wants to know about the reactions of different chemicals. Her parents told that in the age of Natalia children demand toys. But, she is different from others. She demands a chemistry kit, different chemicals, and Microscope.

In an interview, Natalia said that she wanted to be a biochemist when she grew up. Furthermore, she also wants to do something for the benefit of animals. She wants to make cruelty free vaccines animal and products for animals.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has congratulated 9-year-old science enthusiast Pakistani girl Natalia Najam on achieving a Guinness World Record when she arranged the elements of the periodic table in 2 minutes, 42 seconds breaking a previous record of an Indian Ph.D. Professor. Natalia Najam is the granddaughter of Afzal Siddiqi from Lahore. He is an old member of PPP and a lawyer for Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Begum Nusrat Bhutto, and other party leaders in different cases.

Bilawal said that entire Pakistan was proud of Natalia Najam and her feat adding that she is an inspiration for the Pakistani girls and boys who aspire and dream to achieve great accomplishments in their lives through hard work and dedication. Natalia’s world record is an inspiration for all the children of Pakistan. It is motivational for our children so that they also contribute their talent to grow up in Pakistan.
