The picturesque cricket stadium
The picturesque cricket stadium is situated in the port city of Gwadar. The beautiful stadium hosted an exhibition match for the first time. This first match is dedicated to the late Pakistani mountaineer Ali Sadpara. He was declared dead by his family after going missing on Thursday on K2 – the “Savage Mountain”.
Gwadar was a spot for sore eyes as the cricket stadium in the city, dubbed by many as the world’s most beautiful one, hosted its first-ever domestic cricket match on 19th Feb.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan shared the news of the match on social media. He wrote this is the first-ever cricket match being held at Gwadar cricket stadium. The match is dedicated to Muhammad Ali Sadpara. Moreover, the prime minister also put #CricketAtGwadar in the caption.
The picturesque stadium in the beautiful stadium in the world. It is surrounded by majestic mountains and hills. The stadium hosted its first-ever match between the Showbiz Sharks Vs the Gwadar Dolphins on 19th February.

According to a report, Showbiz Shark is headed by PCB CEO Wasim Khan and includes Fakhr Alam, Fasil Qureshi, Ali Zafar, Saleem Sheikh, Ejaz Aslam, Shazad Rai, Sami Khan, Kamran Jilani, Salman Saeed, Ali Safina, and Noman Habib. On the other hand the Dolphins are headed by Zulfi Bukhari, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis. The team includes local players and Ali Zaidi and the GOC Gwadar.
Toss between Shark and dolphin
British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner tossed between Bukhari’s team and Wasim Khan’s team.
“What a stadium,” Turner said. “Moreover he said, i think this is the most beautiful stadium in the world. Turner himself was very excited to be at the venue.
Showbiz Sharks won the toss and the Dolphins elected to bowl first.
Waseem khan said that Our batting and bowling teams are very strong so we are looking forward to the game. Before the beginning of the game, prayers were offered for Pakistani climber Ali Sadpara and two other foreign climbers who went missing with him on the K2 adventure. Sadpara was recently declared dead by his family.
A passionate sports follower tweeted different pictures of the stadium. He was showing the stadium’s staffer preparing the ground for the action ahead.
Singer, actor, and TV personality Fakhar-e-Alam highlighted the stadium first by tweeting pictures and videos from the stadium.
On February 1, all eyes were on the beautiful cricket stadium in the port city of Gwadar, including the International Cricket Council (ICC). Being in awe of its beauty, the ICC shared photos of the cricket stadium, challenging people if they saw “more beautiful sports venues”.
